A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Renata Follmann brings more than a decade of accomplishments in public relations, event execution, messaging, crisis communication & management and strategy to Rossetti Public Relations.
Having developed an interest in journalism and storytelling at a young age, Renata sought a career in public relations as a means to tell stories about the people and experiences that effect change and create lasting impact for organizations. In 2010, Renata was recruited to help open The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as a member of the resort’s public relations team. Her expertise in media relations and her fluency in three languages became vital assets as she worked to promote the property as a global destination, one that is truly unique on the Las Vegas Strip. Renata led the team's efforts in all out-of-market events, where the guest experience and brand activation went hand-in-hand.
Renata remained with The Cosmopolitan for nearly seven years, rising to the rank of Director of Public Relations. In this role she not only oversaw the resort’s reputation, but also the public relations team’s multi-million dollar budget. In 2014, she was part of the guiding team that saw through The Cosmopolitan’s $1.7 billion sale to the Blackstone Group. Renata spearheaded announcements highlighting gaming, technology, art, food & beverage and hospitality.
Renata holds Bachelor’s degrees from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
